Then at the Behavioral Health Awareness Art Show, Yumi Hogan, Maryland’s First Lady recognized her, for her contribution to removing the stigma about mental illness/addiction and recovery through Recovery Art. Robin was one of only 20 artists juried into the show! Mrs. Hogan along with New Day Campaign hosted the show.

RECOVERY ART STUDIO JOINS THE FIGHT AGAINST CANCER
On February 22, 2017, Robin's husband was diagnosed with head/neck cancer. He will be undergoing intense radiation therapy/chemo for 6-7 weeks starting on March 8th. As a result, starting in March, Robin will be temporarily stepping down from her On Going events to be a care-partner to Dirk. Robin is very grateful for being in recovery for she knows that is what is going to help her suit up and show up for Dirk during this very trying time!
